Deposit

Holding deposit

If you would like to put forward an application for the property you can pay a holding deposit which will reserve the property for you whilst your application if processed. (subject to your application being accepted by the landlord) This amount will then be deducted from your first month's rent. The holding deposit amounts to one week's rent. This is not refundable if you change your mind about the property or if you fail the referencing process.
Security deposit

A security deposit of the equivalent to 5 weeks rent will be payable before the start of the tenancy. Separate negotiations regarding the deposit may be applicable in the instance that a pet is allowed into the property. Please note that this does not mean that a pet is allowed at this property - please ask for further details. The deposit will registered in a government approved scheme.

Please Note

Tenant default fees

• changes to a tenancy agreement - £50 per amendment (This can be higher if additional costs are incurred)

• payments associated with early termination of the tenancy including utilities, communication services, TV licence, council tax plus any landlord reletting costs and rent until another tenant is found and takes over the tenancy.

• a default fee for late payment of rent. This is charged daily at 3% above the Bank of England's annual percentage rate for each day that the payment is outstanding.

• replacement of a lost key/security device fee subject to individual costs of item plus £15 (plus VAT) administration fee.
