House For Rent £2,200
Beulah Road, Walthamstow, London E17

Description
A superbly finished three bedroom house in the very heart of Walthamstow Village. Situated on Beulah Road, it is perfectly positioned for all that this amazing part of E17 has to offer. It is also within easy walking distance of Walthamstow Central station, meaning the daily commute is an absolute cinch.

The internal presentation is exceptional, with high quality materials and craftmanship evident throughout. To the front there is a reception room (the perfect family TV snug?) followed by a very handy ground floor WC. The kitchen/diner to the rear is a fantastic hub for this property, and is kitted out with high quality fitted kitchen units, composite work surfaces, and tiled floors. There are also uninterrupted views of the private garden via French doors.

Upstairs the three bedrooms are spread across the two upper floors. All are doubles. The first two sit on the first floor, with an elegant family bathroom in between. The second floor houses the largest of the bedrooms, this one offering views of the rear garden.

Speaking of gardens, as well as that private one at the rear, there is also a garden to the front as well.

In This Area...

Despite what people may tell you, Walthamstow Village was not invented by estate agents. It's called Walthamstow Village because it is exactly that – a true urban village. Once the administrative heart of Walthamstow, the area now has a quieter, almost rural feel to it, happy to allow the other parts of E17 to provide the bright lights and buzz that naturally come with living in one of the world’s great capital cities. Swathes of the Village were designated a conservation area by the local authority some 50 years ago, meaning it has retained much of it’s historical charm. St Mary’s Church was founded in the 12th century, and sits in its own ivy-clad churchyard, through which runs the fabulously named Vinegar Alley. Across Church Lane sits The Ancient House, by comparison relatively modern, being 15th century, whilst nearby are the alms houses and Vestry House museum, the latter located in the old workhouse. Retail and leisure are centred around Orford Road, a pedestrianised street in the centre of the Village. Here local independent stores and boutiques share the space with some wonderful bars and eateries, which in the summer months spill out onto the pavement, creating a wonderful al fresco tableau. Whether you're looking for freshly baked pastries, a caffeine fix or the best sandwiches around, it's all just a stones throw from Beulah Road. In recent years the formerly run-down Ravenswood industrial estate has become something of a ‘must visit’ destination for Londoners. It is home to God’s Own Junkyard, a world-renowned neon emporium, which must be seen to be believed. There are also a couple of micro breweries (complete with taprooms open to the public) and a gin palace. In the warmer months the area is pulsing with locals, basking in the unique surroundings. Most of all though, Walthamstow Village is a community – a creative and exciting hub for both individuals, couples and families and one of the best urban villages in the capital.
