“We've had an amazing time in Bridge Court over the last four years. The Hare and Hounds pub is a short saunter away, and the Aldi over the road is a real lifesaver. Italian Slice is good for takeaways (if not for your diet), but we always enjoyed walking them off over Hackney Marshes, which is a five minute walk through Jubilee Park. Shed London is opening over the road within the next few months, and we're sad to miss the St Johns Bread and Wines. Lea Bridge Station is a brisk ten minute walk away, as are the wonderful breakfasts at Lighthaus. The block has a real community spirit and we've had a few barbecue/dinner parties in the shared gardens - it's a lovely place to sit with a glass of wine as the sun is setting. The eucalyptus tree in front of the flat smells amazing in the rain and the quiet movement of the fir trees in the wind is very relaxing - sometimes you'd swear you weren't in London at all, it's so peaceful.”
