Horseferry Road, London SW1P

Description
Virtual tour available: A spacious and very well located, 3 bedroom / 2 bathroom apartment in a sought after location.

Situated well for an evening stroll around Westminster taking in the sights of Parliament, Big Ben and St. James's Park. Just moments from Horseferry Road is found Vincent Square, which is part of Westminster School and hosts one of the oldest cricket pitches in London.

The property is furnished and available to move in from now onwards.

A bit of history on this building and Horesferry Road: This building has late Victorian origins and once would most likely have a been town house. In 1984 the building was developed into flats and the shop front that we see to this day.

The street name itself is derived from the 1500's when horses were used to work a roped turntable that would drive small passenger ferries to and from over the river Thames. The horse ferry ceased use in the 1860's upon the completion of Lambeth bridge.
