House For Rent £2,500
Clarendon Road, Walthamstow, London E17

Description
An utterly charming and stylishly presented four bedroom, two bathroom terraced house on Clarendon Road. Nestled on a quiet residential road on the southern edge of Walthamstow Village, it’s ideally located for everything that this amazing part of E17 has to offer, such as the coffee shop Huck’s, which is literally a stone’s throw from your door. It’s also just a hop, skip and a jump from Walthamstow Central station for when you need to get further afield.

Set across three floors, this beautiful home seamlessly blends the comforts of modern life with original period features. Many of the rooms have either stripped floorboards or engineered wood flooring underfoot, as well as a muted colour palette on the walls, which accentuate the bursts of colour dotted throughout. The ground floor comprises two reception rooms and a long kitchen diner, which features fitted units at one end and French doors leading to the garden at the other. Upstairs the four bedrooms are spread across the upper two floors, with a bathroom on the first and a shower room on the second. All are as beautifully presented as the rooms below.

Outside there is a private garden to the rear, offering the perfect spot to relax on a summer’s evening.

In This Area...

Bakers Arms is named after the pub of the same name which stood on the junction of Lea Bridge Road and Hoe Street. The building survives but the pub has long since closed. Happily, the Bakers Alms Houses, which the pub was named after, still survive. The alms houses can be found just around the corner on Lea Bridge Road. Built by the Master Bakers Benevolent institution in 1857, they are a grand architectural reminder of times past. On the other side of Lea Bridge Road you’ll find the King William the IVth, which is now a thriving local gastro pub. Further up Hoe Street is the incredible Hornbeam Café, a great spot to enjoy fresh, locally produced food. The Hornbeam also host live music and film nights. This end of Hoe Street links Walthamstow to Leyton and has good transport links (bus to Clapton in 10 minutes, Hackney in 15 minutes, Walthamstow Central station within easy walking distance). It’s also the shortest of short strolls from what is now the dining and socialising epicentre of Walthamstow, the Village.
