Thringstone is a village in North West Leicestershire and approx 3 miles north of Coalville. Local interest is that it is home to the former Gracedieu priory which still exists as ruins and was part of a Conservation project in 2005. The ruins are also home to the mystical White Lady with a comprehensive record of sightings dating back to 1926 and refer to similarities of shared sightings and descriptions of the apparition hovering on the opposite side to the priory.
