Description
The property

This stunning end-terraced home in the Kingstanding area of Birmingham will delight all viewers with both its superb presentation (inside & out) and generous plot. The property is set back from Longford Road behind a tarmac driveway, providing parking for two cars side-by-side. Viewers will immediately note the fetching rendering and wooden panelling that enhances the kerb appeal of the home. There is a secure gated side passage to the left of the property and viewers will take the composite front door into the porch to begin their visit.

The porch is an addition to the original build and offers plenty of space for guests to remove coats and shoes before moving through to a short hallway that has a door leading off to the lounge and a carpeted staircase leading up to the first floor. The lounge is a magnificent reception room that features a deep bay window to the front that not only expands the room size but also provides an abundance of natural light. A trendy electric fireplace is mounted to the face of the protruding chimney breast and there is a handy storage cupboard that makes excellent use of the space underneath the staircase.

A door to the rear of the lounge leads into a sensational kitchen suite that spans the full width of the house. It includes a very smart suite with the main cooking and utensil area to the left of the room where a range of units are fitted in a horseshoe formation that has a space for a cooker in the centre and an overhead extractor already in place. To the right of the room there is a breakfast bar and utility area with integrated appliances comprising of a dishwasher, fridge-freezer and washing machine. There is a space for a tumble dryer within the units to the left of the room and the flooring is of durable tiling.

One of the most noticeable features when entering the kitchen is the sliding doors leading through to an excellent sunroom extension. As depicted in the photos, this room is currently utilised as both a dining area and snug for the family. Furthermore, there is a glorious set of French doors with side windows leading out to the rear garden.

Moving upstairs, the landing area is of a decent enough size to store a small unit whilst having doors leading off to all three generous bedrooms and the family bathroom. Bedrooms one and two are to the right-hand side of the first floor and are incredibly generous double bedrooms. Bedroom one has a large set of fitted slide-mirrored-door wardrobes whereas bedroom two has a bespoke-built cabin bed with desk space underneath. The third bedroom is a fantastic single bedroom that at 9’8 could fit a double bed if desired. All three bedrooms are carpeted and each with a radiator and double-glazed window.

Completing the interior is the stylish family bathroom suite. It features an L-shaped bathtub with a shower and angled screen fitted above. The remainder of the suite features a chrome heated towel rail, wash basin, toilet and extractor fan, all complemented by wood-effect vinyl flooring.

Finishing outside, the house comes complete with a garden that is as well presented as the interior. It begins with a gravel patch featuring a circular, decorative patio. The garden then continues onto a long lawn that covers the majority of the remainder of the ground space with more gravel laid to the borders with attractive flowers and shrubs. At the far end of the garden is an impressive outbuilding that features power and lighting and can therefore be utilised as a home office, gym, workshop or simply for storage.
