I’m moving out of this wonderful gem of a flat, so my lovely double room is up for grabs at the end of July!
The flat is ideally located within walking distance of both Elephant and Castle and Kennington for the tube/Thameslink and also has really good bus links all over London, from Walworth Road or Thurlow Street, which are both 5 mins walk away. However, the area is residential and very quiet with a suburb feel.
We are within walking distance of a Morrisons, Tesco, Sainsburys, M&S, Coop and Aldi. Walworth road has a nice selection of high street shops and eateries, especially around the Elephant & Castle new flat developments.
If you fancy some greenery and fresh air, feeding the local water birds, learning how to roller skate or play tennis, Burgess Park is only a 5-minute walk away from the flat - perfect for that lunchtime walk!
The flat is on the first floor and has a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. The furniture was new as of Nov ‘19, and is still in very good condition. The flat is bright and airy, with lots of natural light flooding the rooms throughout the day.
You will be sharing the flat with Katie, who works in fintech (and who will make you dinner or lunch occasionally. She’s awesome!) Looking for another female who is laid back, friendly and generally tidy. Also, it’d be great if you were up for a glass of wine and some Netflix every now and then, or a walk in the park, but it’s also cool that you have your own social life, of course.
Bills are not included, and average around £120pcm (gas & electric, council tax, water, TV license, broadband).
