"For us, the best thing about this flat is its location. First, the outside space is amazing. Our dogs have a small private courtyard garden when they need it, but the park is just a few metres away. All summer long we dine outside and gaze at the trees and the wild hillside that rises beyond our front trellis. We pick wild garlic, elderflowers, blackberries and sloe berries in the park and use them to make pesto, jam, and liqueur. Second, it’s perfect for people who like to bike both to work and for play. Most of Bristol’s amazing breweries, restaurants, bakeries, speciality cafes, and music and theatre venues are about 15 minutes away by bike. And when one of us needs to travel further for work, Temple Meads is just a short walk. Yet it’s usually very quiet here, which is very important, because we really value our sleep!
