The two double bedrooms are located at the front of the property, and are both well-sized with the master bedroom being the most spacious i’ve ever lived in! If you love tall ceilings, large sash windows and character features then this is the ideal haven for you…it could also work really well for a family with a few children as there would be more than enough space for two loft beds.

I’ve lovingly renovated and redecorated the entire flat in the last year or so so I could preserve and enjoy the character features of the property but to a modern standard. Renovations include a new shaker style kitchen-dining area, and a contemporary utility and bathroom, which all feature brand new white goods with a 5 year warranty. The hardwood floors have all been sanded and revarnished and the fireplaces repointed. There is also a damp course treatment throughout the property which has a 10 year guarantee, as well as a brand new combi-boiler, not to mention all the painting and decorating throughout.

One of my other favourite things about the property is the local amenities...it’s only a short 10 minute walk to Thornton Heath train station, which has direct 25 minute train links to Victoria and London Bridge stations, as well as a large Tesco and car park for the all important grocery shop. Sometimes i'll head to the Crystal Palace triangle instead which is a short bus ride away, and enjoy a takeaway coffee from the Blackbird Bakery while strolling through the triangles many boutiques, cafe’s and farmers market. There are also several great pubs, including the Sparrowhawk (one of my favourites for food!) And of course, Crystal Palace park is a great place to meet friends and walk your dog, after grabbing a drink and some lunch in their cafe. For more local dog-walking it’s a short walk to the leafy and largely wooded Grangewood Park, and if you need to post anything quickly the nearest post office is just a minute walk away!

I’ve loved living in this flat and experiencing all it has to offer locally and wish I could stay longer, however i’m expecting twins in August and have already moved to Wiltshire to be closer to family. I’ll really miss having such good access to the city as well as having airy, spacious rooms and two private gardens that are connected to the property."
