We have lived here since the house was first built in 2004. It’s our family home growing up and we’ve had many great memories over the years. We decided to extend the home a few years ago to cater to a more contemporary living style with open plan kitchen dining and living and adding an additional master bedroom and living room. Being an architect I oversaw the design and build. The potential for growth was always there from when we first bought the house and you can see now how that transpired.

Our home is a beautiful, unique, spacious residence brimming with warmth and family charm. Our location is perfect for families which contributes to its idyllic setting. There is a children’s park walking distance from the house with beautiful green open space. Not to mention Coombe Abbey is a 5 minute drive which offers 500 acres of parkland in the spectacular Warwickshire countryside.

Over the years we’ve invested a lot, and have loved creating new spaces for our family and really hope the next owners enjoy and cherish it as much as us. The kitchen and dining area really comes to life when we’re able to open up the bifolds and freely transition between the garden and living spaces. Opening up the space allows us to connect with the outdoors regularly throughout the year with the large glazed screens. The position of the garden also means there are no overlooking houses and you get the sense of a private garden space which is hard to come by.

We will miss being able to come down to the kitchen to prepare breakfast and sit at the dining table to eat. The amount of natural daylight you get is as good as being sitting outside but in the comfort of your own home.
But above all the master bedroom, it’s such an amazing space with the key design feature being the vaulted ceilings. Our daughter absolutely loves running around as the bedroom connects in to her nursery. Not being able to wake up in this bedroom is the thing i’ll miss most.
