There is an Asda Superstore on Fulmar Way, further shops on Moray Way North and a bp service station incorporating an M&S Simply Food on Harbour Drive. There is a Dobbies Garden Centre on the outskirts of the town.

Inverkeithing Primary School and St. John's rc Primary School, Dunfermline and two secondary schools, Inverkeithing High School and St. Columba's rc High School, Dunfermline are within the relevant catchment area. Esms runs a daily return school coach service into Edinburgh.
