We moved here in 2016 and have enjoyed completely renovating the place – leaving nothing undone. We chose this flat as we wanted two large bedrooms and a combined kitchen living room space as we loved cooking and relaxing together. The in-built storage helps us to keep the place uncluttered and easy to maintain and the two sheds have been great for our bikes and gardening bits. The living space flows nicely into the garden, and we built the wrap-around deck and re-landscaped the garden to further this, making it a functional space all year round. We especially enjoy spending the evenings outside and have been known to occasionally relax on the top deck of the climbing frame or dip our toes in the sandpit after our daughter has gone to bed. A new job means we are relocating to Leeds, and we’ll be sad to leave. We have made many happy memories here and it has been our daughter’s first home. Most of all, we have had some great neighbours, who have been especially appreciated during lockdown. We didn’t know anyone in the area when we first moved but will be leaving good friends behind.
