Blewbury is a village situated in the Vale of the White Horse district of Oxfordshire (historically Berkshire), about 3 miles south of Didcot. The stone church was originally Saxon. Blewburton Hill, east of the village was an iron age hill fort, with three sets of walls and ditches riveted with wood, a massive wooden gate, and a cobbled entrance. The Downs provide excellent walks away from the traffic and pollution. The mainline station of Didcot Parkway is nearby and offers direct access to London Paddington in around 45 minutes, Oxford & Reading 15 minutes.
