Sellers insight "It was love at first sight with Glebe House, " says the owner. "At the time, we didn't even know that the house was situated there as it's set so far back from the road and is so private. It had everything we needed – a lovely front garden, lots of space for our family, it borders onto wonderful countryside, and the massive drive was particularly great as we have a large caravan, and we could turn it around very easily. As soon as we walked inside and upstairs, we knew it was our future home. The landing has this gorgeous floor to ceiling window, and it provides an amazing vantage point to look out across the fields. We've watched all sorts of things, from storms to the full moon traversing the sky. It's just a wonderful spot to sit.
"The house and grounds are so peaceful, you can hear birds singing, and there is sun in the garden at different points all day. We felt that the house really flowed well too, with the two staircases on either end. Wherever you are in the house, you have good access to each room. We have many favourite rooms, but the conservatory with the bar is fantastic. It gets the sun in the morning and it's perfect for entertaining guests and family in the summertime. The kitchen is also a great space and again is just excellent when we have visitors. It really becomes the heart of Glebe House and is always buzzing with energy. The garden is also very versatile, and there are two big sheds at the bottom, one of which has been used as a gym and dance studio over the years while our children were growing up.
"We have decorated and renovated every room in Glebe House, and we always said about converting the loft which is a very big space. This might be something the new owners would like to do, to put their own stamp on things.
"Litlington as a location is so peaceful and quaint. It's got everything you need; it's quiet, there are lots of walks, and the house is right next to recreation grounds and fields, so it's very ideally situated. In Bassingbourn, the village over from us, there is a new sports facility just opened up, and then also you have the added benefit of being a stone's throw from Royston, with all its shops, restaurants, cafes and supermarkets. You've really got the best of both worlds here.

Location Located in the highly popular and picturesque parish village of Litlington, Cambridgeshire, the property is just 14 miles from the city of Cambridge and 5 miles from the town of Royston.
