We are a chilled household of two professionals (working in film production) and a house cat named Morley (still not sure what he does for a living...). While we are relaxed and easygoing Morely's only condition is that he is an indoor cat only - all this really means is not leaving doors open behind you, windows wide open etc. And generally keeping an eye out for him.
Currently wfh 3 days a week, its a sociable house with a nice balance between the space to do your own thing and/or hang out, enjoy a good chat in the living room, the odd dinner, movie night etc.
Our interests include:
Film/tv (from the high brow to the trashiest of trash tv), painting, reading, printmaking, music, cooking, 420, binging netflix and generally taking the opportunity to relax.
We are a fairly quiet house, especially after the last year, having left the wild partys behind, in favour of calmer evenings - sorry! (That isnt to say we would ever argue with a trip to the pub....just maybe with bringing the party back home)
The house :
- 4 min walk to Streatham Hill overground.
- 10 min bus from Brixton.
- Direct links to Central London
- Large house on a quiet mews, massive open plan kitchen & living room. Great gas hob/oven.
- Two entrances to the house. One via a side door and one near the avaiable room via the front garden.
- The room has direct access to second patio / courtyard.
- Bathroom is shared with only one occupant as the other has an en suite upstairs.
-Rent is £550PCM – Not including bills. Bills come to approx 125 pcm, though they are less in the summer months. This includes water / gas / electricity / Phone line & Wifi / Council Tax.
- Parking space included (neither of us have a car).
-The house is rented unfurnished but furnished with our things. If you have additional furniture for living area then feel free to make any additions to the communal areas.
- We have a desk set up in the open plan living room which was used by the previous flatmate, so this space is available if you are wfh.
