This has been a wonderful family home and we shall be sorry to leave but we are starting a new chapter in our lives. We have thoroughly enjoyed everything about this truly lovely house including fun in the swimming pool, thanks to the heating we were even able to swim at Christmas, and the opportunity to entertain friends and family and have those stunning views we never tire of looking at. We shall so miss our regular visitors the red squirrels and even the badgers who one year ate all the peaches. A recent visitor has been the newly established sea eagle. There are wonderful walks along the coastal paths to St Catherine's Lighthouse and to St. Lawrence and Ventnor. A short stroll up the hill will take you to Niton village where you will find Joe's Bar that includes a café and the post office. There is a pharmacy, an excellent village store which provides local produce including green grocery, meat, dairy, and an off-licence. It also has a friendly delivery service. There is also a medical centre nursery and primary school, youth club and village Hall. The excellent White Lion pub is in the centre of the village while nearby on St Catherine's road there is the charming Buddle Inn. The path beside the house leads down to Castlehaven Bay where you can find the excellent outdoor restaurant True Food Kitchen and watch for seals, surfers and the fishermen launching their boats.
