Built in 1828 this detached Methodist church has over the years been altered and upgraded to include a new entrance formed in 1976 with sliding doors fitted in 2006, new hip roof on rear rooms around 2000, new main roof in 2009, windows renovated and/or renewed in 1999 and electrical installation test and update in 2017. Solar panels, which are owned by the property, were fitted in 2012 and a new oil fired boiler added in 2000.

The property is not Listed, nor is it in a Conservation Area and is being sold without any planning consent for change of use. The pews and the organ are not included in the sale, yet many of the ornate original features, which include a magnificent ceiling rose, will be remaining. In total there is approximately 345.5 sq metres (3,718.93 sq feet) of space, over two floors, whilst externally there is a tarmacadam forecourt and an enclosed courtyard to one side. A 2m wide right of way exists on the south-east elevations for access to maintain the building.
