In The Owners Words...

We’ve lived in Walthamstow for almost five years and loved every minute. Our flat has been a joy to live in, the huge windows let in lots of natural light to make the most of our recently installed kitchen, bathroom and decorated rooms - our new fireplace is one of our favourite parts of the flat. After weekends spent renovating in the early days there was nothing better than treating ourselvesto a Bell pub roast, Sodo pizza or Collab, all around a 10 minute walk away. Saturday mornings for us have been about getting our fruit and veg for the week from Teds Veg at the Lloyd park market and a sourdough loaf from Bread Winners. There are more amazing coffee shops than you can shake a stick at, our favourites are Armstrong Audio near Blackhorse Road tube or Today Bread on Hoe Street. If you fancy something a bit stronger we regularly pop into forest wines to pick up a bottle of wine or sit in for a drink at the wildcard brewery. The William Morris Gallery and it’s beautiful gardens have been perfect for picnics with friends. When we fancy blowing away the cobwebs, a Sunday stroll around the wetlands which is only 10 minutes on the 123 bus has been perfect. Or Epping Forest for a longer walk, Connaught Water or High Beech are great - a short drive or cycle ride. Walthamstow Dogs tag rugby on a Wednesday evening has been a great way to meet people as well.
