Ronver Road, London SE12

Overview

Guide price £425,000 – £450,000

Absolutely stunning 2 bedroom Victorian terraced house found on the highly desirable Ronver Road, close to Lee Station, local shops, schools & Northbrook Park featuring a fantastic low maintenance rear garden.

The vendors have improved the property during their period of ownership by fitting a new bathroom, a new Vaillant boiler in 2017 (which carries the balance of a 10 year manufacturers guarantee), a Dean Forge wood burning stove to the lounge. As we feel the pictures make it clear the vendors also have a great eye for interior design and they have used a fantastic blend of light and dark colours, from Farrow & Ball and the Little Greene Company, to give the property a warm & homely feel.

The ground floor comprises of a hallway, 2 reception rooms, a modern fitted kitchen and a WC:

The front reception room features a Dean Forge wood burning stove positioned inside the chimney breast, wood laminate flooring and a four pane double glazed window to the front elevation. The second reception is used as a dining room and aptly leads to the kitchen and the rear garden. The dining room also features wood laminate flooring, light neutral décor, a feature fireplace and access to the understairs storage cupboard. The kitchen features a lovely blend of light units and splashback tiles with darker worktops, floor tiles and wall colours all of which are further enhanced by a wealth of natural light from a large window over the sink. The kitchen also leads to the ground floor WC. The garden is a great social space and very low maintenance. It currently features some well stocked potted plants and is paved.

The first floor comprises of 2 double bedrooms and a recently fitted bathroom:

The larger bedroom is a generous size, features built in storage, original floorboards which have been painted and given a distressed look. The second bedroom which is also a double bedroom but is currently used as a home office primarily features light neutral décor and a window that overlooks the rear garden. The bathroom features a fantastic recently fitted 3 piece suite, a chrome towel radiator and again fantastic use of dark and light colours and subway/metro tiles.

We asked the vendors of the property to tell us about their experience of living in the property and here is what they had to say:

My husband and I have loved living on Ronver Road for over six years now. It’s a charming quiet street with lots of friendly neighbours.

The local neighbourhood has a good variety of shops from with a nice café, convenience store’s, take away’s, a great pharmacy, dry cleaners and a home cleaning service all run by friendly small businesses owners. You very quickly get to know everyone and have a sense of community, which is rare in London.

We are only a ten minute walk to Lee train station, where you can get trains to London Bridge (12 minutes), Charing Cross (20 minutes) and Cannon Street (25 minutes) so if you like the hustle and bustle of the city you are only a short ride away. Blackheath, Greenwich and Bromley are also a short bus ride away with bus stops only a few minutes walk away.

One of the things we have loved the most about our home is the lovely south facing garden. It has been our own little haven in the last few months and provided us with an escape from the world. It’s a great space to relax and to entertain friends and family. The garden also backs on to a wonderful park with lots of space for children, picnics and a great enclosed dog park.

We have had a wonderful time living in Ronver Road and we have loved our home very much. But the time has come for the next chapter of our lives. We hope you too will love the neighbourhood and this home as much as we have.
