Bedroom three's a large double and just as beautiful as its predecessor with exquisite Farrow & Ball wallpaper. Lastly, the bathroom will take your breath away; a curved shower cubicle, separate tub, a floating Belfast sink and honeycomb mosaic marble tiles underfoot make for quite the designer space.

Alternatively, the Park Road bus stop around the corner will whisk you to Leyton (Central line) and Walthamstow Central (for direct twenty minute runs to Oxford Circus or Liverpool Street) as well as Wanstead Park and Forest Gate on the 58 route. A word from the owner...

I have had some of the happiest years of my life in this apartment, and would love to pass it onto someone who get as much enjoyment out of it as I have. I have spent many an evening hosting friends for lively dinners and spent summer's cycling to Broadway Market (can go all the way off road) as well as sunbathing /exploring the parks on the doorstep. I enjoyed picnics by the river Lea and often finished my working days with a dip in Hampstead Ponds (a few stops away on the Midland line).

As an artist, I was originally captured by the space and light in the apartment and kept on adding roof windows to the upper floor (which currently sand at six) – making for bright mornings and starry nights (though there are blackout blinds for the required lie ins!). I loved the sense of being on top of the world that the space gives you – it is a little taller than the other period properties in the area so you can see across to the city and canary wharf from the front and the hills of Hampstead and Highgate to the back. At night, the lights twinkle and wink back at you and you feel connected to the beating heart of London, as well as in your own sanctuary.

I originally renovated the space with a view to staying for life and included everything that would last (real wood floors, solid oak kitchen, marble bathroom floor etc) and hope others will benefits from this. I am so sad to leave, though the twists and turns of life are now taking me in another direction, but I hope the next owner gets as much pleasure from the place as I have.
