The only charges we can make in connection with a tenancy are as follows:
The rent
A deposit capped at the equivalent of a month’s rent, lodged with The Deposit Protection Service, which covers damages or defaults by the tenant during the tenancy.
A payment of no more than £50.00 (including VAT) to change a tenancy requested by a tenant. This would include covering the cost of renewed referencing and drawing up of new agreements.
Payments in respect of utilities, council tax, green bin waste or TV licence.
Payment for loss of key(s) or cost of replacing locks by a locksmith.
Payments associated with early termination of a tenancy when requested by a tenant. The tenant will be liable for rent up to the day of the end of their tenancy. However if a replacement tenant can be found before the end of the scheduled tenancy then rent payments will be due up to the date of the new in going tenant.
