Alleyns Hill Farm is a former aisle or hall house, now farmhouse, believed to date back in part to the 15th Century. Timber framed and clad in brick and weatherboarding under a hipped tiled roof.

The present owners have been here since the mid 60s, with a strong farming history in the area.

The house has been extended over the years but retains much of its period charm and offers further potential for adapting/modernising.

The property is located on one of the most northern points of Kent, on the Hoo peninsula, close to the River Thames estuary and adjacent to the rspb Cliffe Pools nature reserve. Despite this apparent peripheral position, the property is very accessible by car, being just 6 miles from the M2/A2 and about a 21 minute drive from Ebbsfleet International (St Pancras from around 20 minutes).

The village itself has a public house (about a third of a mile), local convenience store (0.6 of a mile), a good primary and pre school, medical practice, men's social club and one of the largest parish churches in Kent, visible across the fields from the house. Cliffe Woods (2.5 miles) offers further local facilities. Strood (5 miles) and Rochester (6 miles) have more comprehensive shopping and recreational facilities. Bluewater is about a half hour drive away.

King's Rochester is about a 20 minute drive away. The City of Rochester School (specialist for asd) is just over 2 miles away. There are grammar schools in Rochester and Gravesend.
