The former school is located off a road known as Old Neighbourhood within Chalford. Chalford is a large village in the Frome Valley of the Cotswolds in Gloucestershire to the southeast of Stroud. The site lies just off the A419 London Road on a slight incline with Christ Church Chalford to its immediate Southwest. Opposite the turning off London Road is a small industrial estate. The site is approximately 0.3 acres and lies within flood zone 1.
