A word from the owner... "I had a very happy time living in this quiet studio flat before I met my husband and moved into his home with him. I enjoyed runs through Epping Forest at the weekends and sitting in cafes on the high street, as well as rummaging through the local charity shops for antiques and books. There are some great pubs nearby - the North Star was a favourite of ours - it was like stepping back in time - and I enjoyed gigs at the Leytonstone Ex-Servicemen's Club. There is a really lovely atmosphere in Leytonstone and the streets off Bushwood, which are lined with trees. During the summer I enjoyed evening picnics on Wanstead Flats or reading in the large communal garden. Transport was good - tube, overground and buses provide good connections and I also had my car parked at the side of the property so didn't need to worry about permits. The North Circular and A12 are a short drive away. The flat itself is cosy and had everything I needed. I turned the little alcove into a small desk space and had all my books in there, but it could be used for storage or even a single guest bed. I found the flat large enough to have friends round and hosted a few gatherings there. I think the house itself and the road that it is on really drew me to the property. It's a peaceful haven in a busy city and I loved Bushwood as a road, so wide and green. I have very happy memories of my time living there."
