Primary and Secondary Schools in the area are exceptional with the Sherborne Schools, Salisbury Schools, Sandroyd, Port Regis, Hazelgrove, Bryanston, Hanford, Knighton House and Claysmore. Chilmark itself has a very good state primary school, and there are also great state primary schools in Semley and Wardour. Fantastic Nursery schools in Dinton and Chilmark and of course Shaftesbury and Gillingham Secondary schools are very good.
