Description

Originally used as an agricultural barn by the neighbouring King Johns Lodge, this very attractive building has been successfully converted by the current owners into a fine, up-to-date character home.

The property cleverly combines the best of old and new, with generously proportioned light-filled open-plan living accommodation, along with character features including an abundance of exposed beams and the impressive reception/dining hall with its vaulted ceiling, bespoke staircase and galleried landing.

Nice touches include the oak and tiled floors downstairs, the wood burning stove, the Rako lighting system and the stylish kitchen and bathrooms.

Outside, there are mature grounds, with a private drive, lawned gardens, trees, plants and shrubs, a rear terrace and two outbuildings, one being the old peacock house and the other being near the house and set-up as an additional room, potentially ideal as a separate home office.
