Leyton and Leytonstone tube stations are both a ten minute stroll or it is only a three minute cycle for the Gospel Oak to Barking line. You've also got easy access to the retail colossus of Westfield Stratford City – it's a quick bus ride away.

If you lived here...

You'll be relaxing with friends and family in your 125 square foot lounge with pristine white walls, plush carpet and leafy street views through elegant plantation shutters. A fitting introduction to this fine family home. Continue through, past a handy WC bedecked in striking vintage touches, and your incredible skylit kitchen/diner comes in at a 225 square feet. Enticing details here are too numerous to mention, but the chef's island and breakfast-bar, recessed Belfast sink, filament lighting and exposed brick wall home with working wood burner make this a breathtaking space all year round.

It's all set against a backdrop of a divine landscaped garden framed by floor-to-ceiling bi-folding doors. Throw these open for your expertly zoned outside space, where a lush lawn and lovingly curated exotic plants are bookended by two perfectly private al fresco seating areas. As if this weren't enough, there's a garden room/home working space tucked away here too. Back inside and head up the stairs for your 130 square foot master bedroom with duck egg blue hues, twin windows and built-in storage. Bedroom two is another double, this time of 110 square feet, with a garden view. Your loft is accessed from the hallway here, and lastly, the bathroom captivates in immaculate white tiling, a rainfall shower over the tub and vintage fixtures and fittings.

Outside and Grove Green Road is just around the corner - an on-the-up, vibey area with recent additions including The Filly Brook and Solvay Society. Look out for the Star Wars mural, too. Head in the other direction for our lively destination of Francis Road and an ever-increasing choice of cafes, bars and gourmet pubs. Local institutions include Yardarm, Marmelo Kitchen, Strange Brew and Morny Bakehouse. Further from home, when you find yourself westwards exploring nearby Lea Bridge Road you must pay a visit to Patchworks, a converted factory that's a cafe, bar, art gallery and music venue all rolled into one. It opened its doors just this week.

A word from the owner.....

"We have really enjoyed our time at Oakdale road and will be leaving with a heavy heart. We have put a lot of hard work and love into the house and its completely unrecognisable to when we moved in. We particularly enjoy the open plan extension that seamlessly opens out to the garden- great for entertaining. We will miss our little sun trap BBQ area at the back of the garden in the summer and in the winter lighting the log burner, diming the lights and getting cozy. The house is on a very quiet road and only a short walk from Francis Road & public transport."
