3 bed Flat For Rent £2,100
72 Fairthorn Road, London SE7

Description
Are you looking for a three bedroom penthouse apartment with near on 1500sq.ft of internal and external living space?

Well look no further as this property will certainly tick those boxes and more.

So where to begin with, well initially one should know that this is the only unit of this calibre available at Fairthorn Road. Occupied by one owner since being built, future residents will not only have three double bedrooms to utilise, but a great lounge, two bathrooms and just shy of 500sq.ft south and north facing terrace space.

Looking at the property in detail, the property is set up with a long corridor with the lounge found at one end, the kitchen, master bedroom, en-suite and family bathroom found to the north side of the apartment to which on the South side you will find the additional two bedrooms. On both the north and south sides of the property, you will find that the Lounge and Master bedroom, have direct access to the terraces.

Being so unique, is one thing as a unit, however the owners of this unit, have not rested with the finish the developer put in place but have certainly improved the property throughout in the following fashion, engineered wood flooring throughout the lounge and hallway, with bespoke edging to the skirting boards. The kitchen has had a major overhaul in regards to the flooring, in which you will find lack gloss tiles at circa 600mm x 600mm - a huge improvement in all honesty. Additionally all bedrooms benefit from neutral carpet, whilst both the bathroom and en-suite have tiled floors.

Moving back to the lounge, with it being south facing, natural light will certainly not be an issue and with direct access to the terrace, residents will easily extend their living space to the outside areas. You will enjoy a tranquil view of the Greenwich borough, with no main roads to peer over too. Oh one thing that must not be forgotten, is that with this unit being a penthouse, you are not overlooked in anyway shape or form.

Onto the kitchen, residents will benefit from a well-proportioned kitchen, with a variety of wall and base units of which additional storage was installed, so to give as much storage space as possible. Additionally a perfectly sized space for your dining table and chairs. Great for that early morning breakfast with minimal fuss. Again as per the rest of the property, natural light will be a plenty and just how great is it to have a window in your kitchen, which is just so un-heard of these days in modern apartments. It provides a good 'working from home' set up and home office view - a perfect zoom call back drop.

Reviewing the bedrooms, the master bedroom which is north facing, has its own en-suite, a double size room and has direct access to the terrace. The second bedroom which is of a similar size to the master bedroom, may not benefit from its own en-suite, but is south facing. If you like the sun waking you up in the morning this is the room for you. In respect to the third bedroom, which you can see at present is an amazing jungle/forest themed kids playroom, is just a tad smaller than the second bedroom, to which without any question of a doubt, can be repainted if no children are going to be residing within. A shame it may have to be painted as i'm sure the child in all of us will certainly find it a great room - just don't tell anyone!

With the property nearly covered, there is merely the bathrooms and terraces to cover. The en-suite to the master bedroom is of good size, has a heated towel rail and is just perfect for that morning freshen up in the shower before dashing off to work, if of course you are not currently working from home. The family bathroom, great for everyday use, but certainly in my opinion is great for when you need that long soak after a longs days' work or looking after the kids.

And finally the terraces, which as mentioned previously offer nearly 550sq.ft of space are certainly going to be great places to relax and enjoy, but thinking of the bigger picture, i.e. Covid 19 - outside space is most likely a must if currently working from home. Stretch those legs from north to south, take a break and then back to work it is. And let's not forget the extensive views from both, as you will see from the photos, you have a clear view (albeit on a brighter day than when the photos were taken) of Canary Wharf and the distant City Sky scape.

Now if this is not sounding good to you, I am shocked, as you truly will not find a unit of this calibre within the immediate vicinity.

But that's not all ladies and gentleman, if you own a car and need to park, we have you covered as the right to park is included. Zipcar is also located on the estate. Not driving, no worries, Westcombe Park br station is just a few minutes' walk away giving you direct access to London Bridge, Waterloo East, Cannon Street and Charing Cross. Need the tube, jump on a 108/161 bus for five minutes and voila, you will find yourself on the Jubilee line at North Greenwich catering for Stratford, Canary Wharf and Bank stations.

And whilst we can talk property all day long, it's also the local area which is just important, to which just at the bottom of Fairthorn Road, you will find Charlton Peninsular Retail Park, offering the following shops: M & S, Homesense, Next, Aldi, Lidl, Sainsbury's, Adsa, Smyths (for the child in you) and a tk Maxx, Wilko has also just recently opened. Travel towards North Greenwich and there is a plethora of amenities, be it the countless number of bars and restaurants within the O2 but also the Icon Outlet for cheaper than high street clothing brands.

Now, I said the property would tick many more boxes, to which I hope it has.

We now look forward to hearing back from you so to arrange a viewing.
