Are you looking for a true bungalow that has been well maintained and in ready to move in to condition? Or perhaps you are searching for a home you can really put your own stamp on?

Just a stone's throw from the centre of Marple, Manor Hill Road is a much sought-after residential area with individually designed properties lining the street.

Built during the 1950s, this attractive white rendered bungalow is set back from the road and surrounded by hedging to the front to give you a sense of security and privacy. Make your way to the front door, preceded by the porch with plenty of room for removing and storing coats and shoes. Step through into the spacious entrance hallway, from which every room is accessed and such is its size, it makes a fantastic home office space.

Turn to your left and into the kitchen / breakfast room where you will find an impressive amount of storage with neutral fitted kitchen units at wall and base level plus tall cupboards. There is space for a standard width fridge freezer and a single oven which is integrated with an electric hob and extractor hood.

Head through the kitchen and there is a small space between the kitchen and the side entrance door that has been cleverly repurposed as a utility area housing plumbing for a washing machine, space for a tumble dryer and the gas combination boiler is fitted to the wall above.

Back through the kitchen into the hallway and head left again, you will find the dining room which is a lovely light and bright space, thanks to the window and patio doors which lead outside to the rear garden. There is a feature fire in here and currently this room is in use as a fourth bedroom. Being situated next to the kitchen, there is potential to remove the wall between the rooms to create an open plan kitchen / dining / living space.

One of the best features of this property is the beautifully designed corner windows present in the living room which create so much light and allow gorgeous views of the lush green garden. In winter, crank up the electric fire to keep you extra warm and cosy.

The master bedroom is lined with fitted wardrobes and over bed storage and a large window allows the light to flood in.

There are two further double bedrooms which, like the living room, benefit from two windows each creating that wonderful light and bright environment.

The bathroom is part tiled in neutral tones with a modern white suite including bath, basin, WC and good sized walk-in shower and you will find a separate WC located off the hallway.

The loft is spacious and whilst ideal for storage, there is potential to add further living accommodation and an example of this can be seen at the neighbouring property. You are advised to check whether permitted development is applicable and note that works will be subject to building regs approval.

Externally, there is a detached single garage and vast front driveway providing space for multiple vehicles. Mature lawned gardens surround the property on three sides and the rear garden is south-west facing with a patio, providing the ideal outdoor space in which to relax and entertain from.

A rare to market property offering versatile living space and tremendous potential, both inside and out. Viewings are now available and can be arranged by appointment by contacting our offices on the number provided.

In recent years, Marple has welcomed numerous independent retailers, cafes, bars and restaurants giving residents superb choice for their leisure time. Marple is home to a traditional independent cinema, the Regent, and it is one of the last remaining in the UK.

Children can enjoy the many well-equipped local parks including a skate park in the centre of the town, part of the Memorial Park. Many of these parks enjoy fabulous views of the surrounding hills.
