House For Sale £580,000
Bramley House, Main Street, West Markham NG22

Description
“A few years after our move here we extended into the adjoining double barn on both levels which has given us a large entrance hall, a downstairs cloakroom, an office, and a big, warm utility room ideal for the dogs, on the ground floor, and a huge master bedroom suite upstairs in the eaves. We have had the whole property repointed using lime mortar, and inside, in the last few months it has been repainted throughout. We have also refurbished the space at the end of the barns to provide storage, both on the ground and first floor.”

“The position is beautiful with views to the west across the countryside towards Thorseby and Clumber estates, where we see glorious sunsets. The land immediately behind our house will never change as it is an historic site with ridge and furrow parkland dating to medieval times.”

“It’s a lovely, quiet, rural position yet so easy to reach everything you need. The village has a very safe feel, and although small, there is a good sense of community.”
