We have loved living here at Halford House, as soon as we viewed it, my husband and I knew it was the one. Instantly we fell in love with the house and could already picture marshmallows by the fire at Christmas, to making good hearty meals in the kitchen for our family and friends. The house was just what we were looking for, something with charm, charisma and also unique. It’s quite difficult to find a house in Coventry that looks like Halford House in relation to it’s architectural structure, it’s a stand alone home which we are very proud of.

The room that we are most proud of would have to be The Annex, which once stood as a garage is now a beautifully converted space that meets all the needs for day to day living, independent to Halford House, with its own access and drive. From a bespoke, high spec kitchen with hints of gold tones, to a bathroom that is spacious and well designed, every area of the Annex has been carefully crafted for comfort and originality.

Over the years, this home has birthed so many wonderful moments, including bringing our newborn son home from the hospital and introducing him to this remarkable family home. It was truly an unforgettable moment, and why we will always hold Halford House dear to our hearts.

My husband and I have enjoyed building wonderful memories in our home, the most special are of course with our little miracle, our son. Prior to this, entertaining family and friends, especially al fresco dining on the patio on a warm summers evening, to karaoke in the 'Man-cave' and singing to hearts content in a spacious and sound proof room.

We will miss the individuality of the home, how it stands out and commands admiration, it really is breathtaking when you set your eyes on it. But most of all, we will miss our neighbours. The area has a wonderful community, with people from all different walks of life that are friendly and caring. Here at Halford House, we have been very fortunate to have met such special people. Our reason for leaving is to be closer to family, although it was a very difficult decision to make, we know it’s best for our son.

Location

Located close to Coventry City Centre and only a short commute to Birmingham. The home is also close to fantastic Warwickshire countryside with the villages of Corley and Fillongley just minutes away.

Also located within the catchment are for Coundon Court and President Kennedy secondary schools.
