*** Vendors comments *** "My husband and I bought the property in 2012 when it was first built. We were looking to buy an eco-house and it ticked all the boxes. We particularly enjoyed having the mezzanine at the top of the house, which we used as a study. We lived there for four years with our little dog, Harvey, until we retired from teaching. We then travelled and rented our house to a lovely family, who unfortunately decided to go back home in November. The Rowan Road development is a lovely place to live. It is a thriving community with very friendly and helpful neighbours, and we hear that permission has now been granted for the surgery on site. Fabulous news! I particularly enjoyed walking the dog around the lake before work in the morning (further afield, Streatham and Mitcham commons are lovely too!) My husband used to catch the morning train from Norbury or Streatham Common in the morning and I used to catch the 118 to Brixton tube station. Mitcham Eastfield was perfect to catch the Eurostar from St Pancras. Altogether a fabulous place to live! We particularly miss the delicious curry houses in Norbury".
