Inside and the first stop is your 170 square foot front lounge. Artfully restored original timber floorboards flow in from the hallway, offsetting the tranquil Setting Plaster walls (finished in Farrow & Ball paint as throughout), while an antique tiled hearth takes centre stage.

Next door your dedicated dining room raises the tempting prospect of knocking the wall through for a lengthy dual aspect through lounge. But in the meantime it's a perfectly delectable spot, wonderfully bright, home to another vintage hearth and and laid open to the kitchen. In here you have still more space for dining, with large format tiling underfoot, timber countertops, a pristine metro tile splashbacks and new brand name appliances. Your kitchen and dining room each have direct garden access. Step out onto a raised deck leading down to a length of lawn, secluded behind timber fencing and home to a handy shed.

Back inside and upstairs your master bedroom sits to the front in Slipping Satin F&B paint and totals 180 square feet, while to the rear you have another bedroom (with a Skimming Stone F&B paint job), a dedicated study and the family bathroom, smartly finished in Light Blue, with underfloor heating, a fired earth tub below a rainfall shower, plus vintage hearth. Finally your skylit loft room is beautifully bright and ideal for all manner of uses.

A word from the owner.....

"We have absolutely loved living in 4 Aubrey Road. The moment we walked through the door, we knew it was the house for us. It's got such a special atmosphere, and it's filled with original features like the two beautiful fireplaces, and the original pine sideboard in the dining room. The rooms are great sizes, and the garden is a total sun trap in the summer. On New Year's Eve, you can watch the whole of north London light up with fireworks from the loft – an amazing sight, not to be missed! The road is lovely and quiet, with no through-traffic, and super-friendly neighbours. Plus, it's brilliantly connected to both Orford Road and Lloyd Park. There are so many great spots nearby for food and drink: We loved buying beer from Clapton Craft, and pizzas from Yard Sale. Or grabbing coffee from Perky Blenders, and drinking it as we wandered down the market. We're really going to miss Aubrey Road, and we know whoever lives here next will be just as happy as we've been."
