***Vendor comments*** "Back in early 2010 we were searching for a property in the Upper Norwood area as our son was about to start Secondary School in the area. This area was our preferred location as there are good schools in the vicinity, such as Dunraven, Harris Academy and St Joseph's College.
We viewed several properties but were not happy, either with the property itself, the surrounding areas or the development itself.
When we first viewed this flat, we were happy with the sizes of the bedrooms, the kitchen with ample cupboard space and a spacious sitting room. But what really impressed me most was how tidy and quiet the development was. I wanted to make sure it was not by chance and therefore visited the area another four times during that week; always at different times of day and evening. I concluded it was the right property and place for us. The fact that there is a caretaker making sure the estate is clean and in good shape was/is also essential.
We are now starting a new chapter in our lives as I will retire at the end of the year and we plan to relocate. We think it is a lovely home. We decorated it last year and at the time, I had not decided to retire yet, so the decoration was done to a high standard as we did it for us to live in long term. I think the new owners will enjoy a flat which is in immaculate condition and ready to be enjoyed by another family for years to come.
We love the area. Several parks like Streatham Common, Norwood, Crystal Palace are all within walking distance and we enjoy them at every opportunity we have.
We have a good bus link to Croydon, Crystal Palace, Streatham and Brixton. Also, West Norwood, Norwood Junction, Crystal Palace stations are all within close proximity either walking or a short bus ride away.
The property has off-street parking for residents and there is also the possibility of renting a garage for convenient parking and storage.
We are looking forward to our new chapter but will definitely miss the flat and the area, which we have been calling home for the past 12 years".
