What we’ve created here, is a little oasis that has all the advantages of being fully integrated into the local community. Beyond the idyllic grounds and the beautifully-designed houses and lodges, you’ll find a thriving village ready to welcome you.
The great outdoors has never looked, or felt, better and people who live here say they’ve never felt more energised. Just imagine, 78 acres of parkland to explore – including 20 acres of woodland. It certainly adds a new dimension to that leisurely afternoon stroll in the sun.

Alcester Home Care, the oldest practice in Alcester, offer onsite support and personalised care in the comfort and privacy of your own home which, by arrangement, can be extended to 24/7 support.

History
Known as Round Alne in the middle ages, Great Alne takes its name from the River Alne. It was first chronicled in the charter of King Ethalbald (723 – 737).
Alcester was founded by the Romans in around ad 47 as a walled fort. Today the town features architecture from the Medieval, Tudor, Georgian, Victorian times and 20th century. The oldest house appears to be The Old Malthouse at the corner of Church Street and Malt Mill Lane, which probably dates from about 1500.
