The drawing room is a wonderful size with a stone fireplace and 5 sets of French doors to the garden. There is a dining room and a well appointed kitchen/breakfast room with fitted wall and floor units, granite work surfaces, an electric 4 oven Aga with electric hob, built in combi oven and dishwasher. There is also a stable door to the garden and a walk in shelved larder. Beyond is a boot room with fitted units and a dog shower, a garden room with sliding door to the garden and a study with fitted shelves, quarry tiled floor and secondary staircase. At the end of the house is a bedroom suite with exposed beams, inglenook fireplace, dressing room and bathroom.

A wide oak staircase leads up from the entrance hall to a spacious first floor landing with exposed beams and oak floor and French doors to a balcony on the front of the house. Off this landing, the principal bedroom is open to the eaves with exposed beams and an oak floor. There are French doors to a balcony, a dressing room with range of built in cupboards and drawers and an en suite bathroom with double basins, a large walk-in shower and a cast iron bath with claw feet. There are 2 further bedroom suites on this floor with dressing rooms and bathrooms. Also in this section of the house is bedroom 6, a laundry room and connected drying room.

Off the reception hall, steps lead down to an extension with a lobby, bedroom suite with French doors to the garden and a well appointed bathroom, a cloakroom, wine store and a library/cinema room. The extension first floor is a substantial oak floored games room with eaves storage cupboards and a kitchenette. At ground floor level, the extension and the newer parts of the house have under-floor heating under travertine stone tiling.
Gardens and Grounds

The house is approached through a wooden gate along a gravel drive, which leads to a parking and turning area in front of the garage. A pathway with steps leads up to the house. Beside the drive is a pond that is stocked with fish. On the western and southern sides of the house are seating areas with established flower borders overlooking the pond. There is a large expanse of lawn with borders of rhododendron, concealing garden sheds. At the top of the garden is the swimming pool area with York stone paved surround, a pool house with changing room, plant room and a covered entertaining area. The pool area is sheltered and screened by mature shrubs and there is a wonderful outlook over the forest.
