Description
A highly unique and captivating Grade II Listed Granary conversion with private roof terrace found in the heart of the charming and thriving village of Ticehurst

Description
Found in the heart of the highly regarded and charming village of Ticehurst, The Granary is both a welcoming and intriguing home, that will certainly capture the imagination.

Lovingly converted by our clients around 2005, The Granary provides accommodation set across three floors and enjoys an abundance of character features, including the sliding granary doors to the first and second floors, exposed beams and brickwork and the cogs and pulley mechanisms on the second floor.

On entering the ground floor houses the two bedrooms; the principal bedroom enjoys a dressing area and good storage from the fitted wardrobes, with a stylishly appointed en suite bathroom. A further bedroom enjoys the outlook over St. Mary's Lane and has an en suite shower room.

The first floor is home to the open plan kitchen/dining/family room and cloakroom. At the end of the reception space the full height granary door can be slid back to expose the pleasant views. The stylish, eye-catching and modern kitchen offers an electric Gaggenau six-ring hob and a secondary two-ring gas hob, as well as twin ovens and two dishwashers.

On reaching the second floor, the loft-style sitting room cannot fail to impress; this light-filled room is superb for more formal entertaining and on sliding back the granary door the wonderful, far reaching views across the neighbouring rooftops and countryside beyond will be revealed.

The private roof terrace is accessed via the sitting room; this modest but marvellous outdoor area allows the luxury of low maintenance and the enjoyment of the remarkable 360-degree views over the village, church and the High Weald beyond.
