Young Woodland and Amenity Land
Description
A block of about 23.3 acres of newly planted woodland and
grassland situated to the south of the rural village of Bubwith
adjacent to the River Derwent.
There are two access points off Breighton Road leading into the land and the land has potential to separate into two smaller areas.
Lot 1 coloured Red on the plan extends to approximately 10.9
acres and Lot 2, coloured blue on the plan extends to about 12.4 acres.
The young woodland was planted in early 2019 to a Forestry
Commission design with a mixture of native trees including oak,
birch, cherry, willow, rowan and alder. Once established this will further enhance the amenity and enjoyment of the land.
Grant aid at the rate of £200/ha/year is available to help with the on going maintenance of the trees.
