1 bed Flat For Sale £300,000
East Point, Church Road, Leyton, London E10

Description
A beautifully presented and spacious one bedroom flat, situated on Church Road. It’s brilliantly located for Leyton tube station for the morning commute (and Westfield), as well as being just a short stroll from Francis Road and the High Road, with their plethora of independent bars and eateries.

This charming former pub building was given a new lease of life back in 2015, when it was converted into residential apartments. This particular flat on the first floor is extremely well presented throughout, and features a double bedroom, modern family bathroom, and a fantastic open plan kitchen/living area. This latter space is ideal, whether you are relaxing whilst still keeping an eye on dinner, or entertaining friends before heading out for the evening in Leyton or beyond.

As the longer days return there’s a communal roof terrace on the top floor, so that in the summer months there's even more space to enjoy.

A fantastic modern flat, cocooned in a beautiful, period pub building - what more could you possibly ask for?

In The Owners Words...

This was the first home we bought together, and although we didn’t live in it long it will always hold a special place in our heart. I remember it was raining the day we picked the keys up, but it had stopped by the time we got into the flat, and as we looked out from the terrace we could see the most incredible rainbow. Unforgettable! We chose this place for many reasons. The first thing we fell in love with was the name itself, ‘Oliver Twist’ and then deeper than that, its history of being at the centre of the community as a pub for over a hundred years. Imagine the stories that were shared and the secrets told in this place! Other than that we loved the big windows, high ceilings and natural light.

As we said, the building used to be a popular pub, and it’s original sign still hangs outside. Built in 1867, it originally sold beer brewed by Crippen Brothers of Tottenham. By 1904 it had been acquired by Whitbread, and it eventually closed in December 2005. Development began in 2013 and the new flats were completed in 2015 when we purchased number 4. Famously the pub appeared in an episode of ‘London’s Burning’, a British TV drama that ran from 1986-2002.
