Set along a quiet lane off a private drive in a vilage environment, is this well-presented detached bungalow offering space and seclusion. The deceptive 4 double bedroom accommodation has been totally refurbished, remodelled and extended by the present owners. It also includes a 1 bedroom self contained annex.

The property is secluded in a rural environment surrounded by mature woodland and open fields. The property can be approached through a gated driveway, which has ample parking for multiple vehicles, including two additional car ports. A second gated entrance also gives access to the gardens.

The recent refurbishment to the interior includes high specification materials for all the new bathrooms and w/c’s. The new utility room and the modern stunning kitchen, includes all the latest mod-cons and services.

From the main front entrance on the ground level, you enter the hallway which includes a log burner, leading into the kitchen and dining area, plus the large sitting room. The ground floor also includes 3 double bedrooms (1 with en-suite shower) plus a family bathroom and an additional cloakroom. The master bedroom includes a walk-in wardrobe, with a wet room. The upper floor houses a large double bedroom with an en-suite and velux windows.

The property also boasts a detached one bedroomed self-contained annex, which would be perfect for visiting guests or family. The bungalow is surrounded by a beautiful patio, ideal for barbeques and al-fresco dining, with a garden laid to lawn, including a gorgeous tree-lined boundary. It also includes a large pond which houses over 100 koi carp.
A large detached summer house is located on the drive, currently used for storage and a fitness gym.

Some words from the current owners
With the daily hustle and bustle of city life the plan was always to move to a property with land and relax. This bungalow certainly ticked that box. You fully appreciate the 4 seasons and it’s a far healthier lifestyle pottering around the garden, trying (but failing) to improve the golf game hitting balls over the pond or sitting by the pond watching the day go by trying to catch some of the large carp, tench and sturgeons in the pond. In the last couple of years where we have been in/out of lockdown working from home hasn’t felt like work when you can open the bifold doors and look at the lovely scenery and stretch your legs going for a walk around the garden. Now life is getting back to normal and being in the office some days the commute to Canary Wharf is as easy as it used to be whether you drive or commute on the trains.
With the closest neighbour being in the distance you would think that there isn’t any local community but you couldn’t be further away from the truth. Everyone has made us feel very welcome, whether that be just walking the dogs, going on bike rides or an invitation to BBQ’s or Xmas drinks. We will be sorry to leave the property but it's time for someone else to appreciate the joys of living in the countryside without being miles from civilization.

Location
The property is in a convenient location within West Kingsdown having the local parade of shops 1.5 miles away. For getting further afield West Kingsdown is a hub for motorway connections.
