Shepherdswell has a very friendly atmosphere with a church and the village hall that hosts a variety of community events. The Bell pub is a traditional Grade II Listed building with a welcoming atmosphere, beamed ceilings and wooden floors. There is a Co-op mini supermarket at the end of the lane and a mainline station in the village with direct trains to Dover and London, while the trains from Dover Priory can whisk you to London in about an hour.
