The Brownlow Arms is a good pub with really great food. Grantham and Newark are each about 20 minutes’ drive with a wide selection of shops and supermarkets. Both also have non-stop trains to London via the East Coast Main line. The location has been perfect for us enabling me to commute two days a week, with train journey times about 65 minutes, and for my wife, who works in Lincoln, about a 30 minute drive. We play golf at Belton Park, but that is only one of three golf courses within 15 minutes’ drive. It should also be remembered that along with several other good schools in Grantham and Newark, The Kings School in Grantham was attended by Isaac Newton 1655-1660. School buses provide transport for pupils to and from the village daily.”
