Land

There is a small, level wild meadow which extends to approximately one acre, bordering the River Waldon, with cut pathways providing an ideal area for nature lovers as it attracts an abundance of wildlife. Beyond the meadow is a larger area of woodland planted with a variety of deciduous trees including Oak, Ash and Cherry. Three pathways take varying routes through the land and around the lakes and converge at the bottom lake.

The lakes were established some time ago by the former vendors and both, in total, amount to three acres. The smaller of the two is presently left for wildlife however, with little adjustments it could be reverted back into a fishing lake. Surrounding the lakes is a variety of mature trees and shrubs with areas of well maintained grass between.

Mature conifer trees provide an idyllic backdrop to the lakes with the River Waldon flowing to the far side. The overflow discharge can be found leaving the larger lake where it enters back into the River Waldon. The lakes, woodland and meadow all offer a quiet and private position with no right of way or public footpaths.
