Location
Cornwall is renowned for it’s landscape with some 400 miles of distinctive and defining coastline. It has a unique and romantic history as a county, where tin mining and smuggling lived side by side.

This building plot is in an exceptionally desirable position less than 0.1 miles from the idyllic Carbis bay beach one of best and most attractive beaches to visit. Access to St Ives is either by train from the Carbis Bay Station, 50 metres away, or just over a mile and a half away on foot, along the South West Coast path beside the sea.

St Ives is home to the landmark Tate St Ives, the famous Barbara Hepworth Museum, and the Leach pottery. St Ives is bordered by three beautiful beaches which are repeatedly voted among the best in the British Isles, one particularly for surfing. Set against the colourful backdrop of the working fishing harbour, the clarity of the light and the clear turquoise of the sea have attracted artists since the 19th century. The town, with winding cobbled streets, is also a ‘foodie’ destination packed with numerous restaurants (amongst them is the award winning Porthminster Beach Café). Pubs and cafes all offer excellent food and views.

At nearby Lelant, overlooking the Hayle Estuary there is a spectacular links golf course with views towards Godrevy Lighthouse. A scenic branch railway line links Carbis Bay and St. Ives with the main London-Penzance line at nearby St. Erth.

From the A30 take the A3047 direction St Ives. On entering Carbis Bay turn right in to Porthrepta Road. Follow the road down the hill and the building plot is on the right immediately after crossing over the train line.
