Description
Are You Downsizing? I've Got A Gem For You Here With This Charming Cottage Style Detached House

Agents view
The original house is believed to have been built in 1926, later additions have created a versatile and much loved family home.
The first thing to note is the wonderful kerb appeal, delightful!

Stepping inside there is an entrance hallway with enough space for everyday coats and shoes. This leads you to the kitchen/ diner and front living room which could easily be separated if open plan layouts aren't your style.

The kitchen has been re-fitted by the current owners, practical L shaped with plenty of worktop and cupboard space available.

Flowing through to the rear of the property, the second reception room has large built in cupboards tucked behind the stairs, giving a once disused and awkward area a purpose to provide ample storage solutions. There are lovely patio doors leading out to the garden with views beyond to woodland.

A clever sliding door off the rear reception room leads to the principle bedroom which almost feels like a boutique hotel with the stylish shower room, calming décor and modern fitted wardrobes. Being on the ground floor it is ideal for downsizers thinking to the future, with enough space for guests to stay over. I think the room would be made perfect by adding patio doors on to the patio.

Upstairs there is a family bathroom and two bedrooms; one double with walk in wardrobe and a single, ideal for a study.

The garden is a great size, extremely private and sunny all day long (south east facing) Simply stunning and lots of potential if you're green fingered.

My favourite aspects are of course the kerb appeal, extension potential, gorgeous shower room and lovely non overlooked garden.

Sellers view
We bought this house because of its close proximity to Dinton Pastures (perfect for walking the dog) and local shop, being on a bus route into Reading & Wokingham plus easy access to M4 for travel.

The first reception room has a warm cosy feel during the winter months as we fitted a flame effect electric fire.
Since buying the house we have refitted the kitchen and shower room, added built in wardrobes/ storage cupboards and decorated throughout recently.

We have enjoyed watching the red kites from our garden here and are hoping to be watching the seagulls and seals in our retirement home by the sea!
