A word from the owner...
"From the moment I saw the flat, I wanted to live there. It was not merely the space, which is substantial, or the good natural light, which all year round, is very bright and airy due to the large windows and uncluttered space outside. This really does make for a relaxing and open feeling environment. There is, good, direct access from the kitchen, via a relatively new, well-built, and professionally installed, steel staircase, to the garden hidden away, which makes this property special; the garden space has been, for me and those who have lived at the property, an oasis of calm and relaxation. Due to its orientation, it is filled throughout much of the day with sunshine and/or light. The secluded space is the perfect place to step away from the hustle of the outside world and catch up with yourself and switch off. The neighbours and the neighbourhood, make for a wonderful place to live. I think of all the places I have ever lived in; it is the most welcoming; as a community, it is a great place to be. Almost all of the immediate neighbouring houses and flats are occupied by residents, who have been there for years and have developed a strong sense of connections and support. This really does make for such a relaxing environment; you will feel at home immediately and no request is too big to ask. The attic space is brilliant, the size of the space is monumental and usable; there is so much scope for improvement and change. Like the garden, it has been a space where one can go up into and do small jobs, store items, or relax in for a few hours.

I love the fact that the area is between the city (via reliable and direct train/tube) and the semi-rural spaces of Epping Forest (literally 5 minutes up the road by foot) which is, a real asset living in a city like London. From the moment I moved into the flat, I would spend my Sunday mornings walking around and through the forest; there is never any chance of becoming bored, the seasonal changes won't allow that! You have on your doorstep, a small, almost village like set of small shops; if you want to shop big, there is a 24 hour, supermarket, approximately 5 mins walk away, therefore, there is no need to drive. The same could be said for the local sports centre and gym, which is a short 10-12 minutes’ walk up to Essex road."
