Relaxing countryside and riverside strolls are right on your doorstep, along with a variety of lovely villages with country pubs and scenic driving routes on the outskirts of the town. Transport: Melksham is well-placed for multiple bus routes, including the X71,271,272 and 273 connecting the village to Bath. The X69 service will take you to Frome, and Marlborough can be reached by using the X76 service. Melksham Railway Station is a small station with regular direct routes to Swindon and Westbury, situated only a five-minute drive from Bowmans Court. Commuting into London by train is easy - just hop on a train from here to Chippenham, and board another train to reach Paddington in 90 minutes. And for those all-important holiday plans, Bristol Airport is an hour’s drive away.

Schools: For younger children, River Mead School and Nursery is just a 10-minute walk away from Bowmans Court, and Aloeric Primary School is five minutes away by car. Both are rated Good by Ofsted. The Manor School is also just over 10 minutes away on foot, so there are plenty of education options in the area for primary-aged children.
