1) 12V lead acid system has 6x 6V batteries at 225AH each and were purchased at the beginning of 2022. These run the interior lighting, outside light, diesel heater and cigarette lighter style sockets. This system also has a 1200w inverter. All equipment is Victron and linked to a Cerbo gx for online management and data logging. There are 4 x 165w solar panels connected to this system and also a remote location wind turbine brand new in the box that can be coupled up with it.

2) The second system is 48V and comprise of 8 x US3000C batteries with a total storage capacity of 28KW. This has a Victron 48/5000/32 gx inverter and the entire system was purchased March 2022 this year which has never been used. This is charged from 8 x 185w solar panels however the charge controller is a victron 250/100 which would allow for upgrading the panels without needing additional charge controllers up to 4.8kw total. There is also a Belle petrol generator being left at the property which is approximately 3 years old and hasn’t been used very often as the solar panels have been adequate for our use for the current owners.

Within the last 12 months BT have installed a fibre line towards the beginning of the moors all the way to the end of the driveway. The current owners have not connected to this but enquiries could be made by any potential buyer for future plans.

The larch clad lodge currently provides space to live/sleep and eat with kitchen units and a composting toilet. Outside there is a barn, the surrounding outside area is mainly laid to lawn, with a variety of mature trees, plants and vegetable patch.

The location is perfect for star gazing with very little light pollution. The measurements for the stone cottage are 14.02m x 4.24m (46'0" x 13'11") with the Lodge measuring 5.66m x 3.88m (18'6" x 12'8").
