***Vendor's comments:*** "We were attracted to the property by the high ceilings, large rooms and period features, including original fireplaces. It needed a complete renovation, but we knew that the result would be a stunning property, and we weren't wrong. The result of 3 years of work, has created our dream home. Every day we say how much we adore our house and pinch ourselves that it's ours. I wouldn't change a thing, we just wish we could take it with us!

Our favourite feature is the two-storey extension we put in, with large bi-fold doors and an open plan kitchen diner. I wanted the slimmest, widest doors at the tallest height to let the most light in and create an uninterrupted view of the garden, so we chose premium bifold doors over regular ones, and it was 100% worth it.

The decor was only finished just over a year ago, so the property feels fresh and anyone moving in wouldn't need to do a thing!

We moved to Croydon to be near my sister, however, she's since relocated to Kent, so we're moving to be closer to her and friends that live more in Kent, otherwise, we'd stay here for many more years.

One of the best things about the location is the transport - under ten minutes walk to West Croydon, and twenty minutes walk to East Croydon (or if you're feeling lazy you can jump on the tram at West Croydon). We regularly go to Brighton on the train for day trips and also visit the farms and beautiful parks that are a short drive away.

The location is a shopper's paradise, with Croydon high street less than ten minutes walk, and Valley Park and Purley Way, both a short walk in the opposite direction. I love having ikea so close!

Croydon is also full of cool restaurants and bars - notably Mr Fox and The Store - and not forgetting Boxpark, which has a delicious array of food and brilliant events.

We're lucky enough to have off-street parking, so never have to worry about a parking space, and because it's a dropped kerb, visitors get a space too!

We have some lovely neighbours along the street, especially our immediate neighbour who is one of the loveliest neighbours we've ever had.

We'll be really sad to leave this house, and are sure that the next occupants will love it just as much as we do."
